Pamela Anderson in her Broadway debut

​The crowd cheered on Pamela Anderson as she took her bow for her Broadway debut Tuesday night (12 APR).

For a limited time, the former "Baywatch" star is playing the role of Roxie Hart in the hit musical "Chicago."

Broadway enthusiast Nate bought tickets as soon as he heard she would be performing.

"It's a perfect show for her. I think not for being like from a dancer background they definitely made it work for her. And she was absolutely spectacular. She did a wonderful job," Nate said.

The show is in its 25th year on Broadway. David came down from Maine just to see the show and was pleased with Anderson's performance.

"I thought that Pamela Anderson was fantastic in that role. It looked terrific and she sounded terrific and danced terrific. I thought it was wonderful," David said.

Anderson will perform for 8 weeks only through June 5th at the Ambassador Theatre.
